What we pour here.

Investment casting runs in a separate building on the same site, not as a sideline between sand jobs. That matters when the part is small and the tolerance is tight: the process, the people, and the schedule are dedicated to it. Any alloy and mix we pour on the steel side can be run here too.

What decides the job

    Finished cost, not casting cost

    The reason to invest-cast a part is usually to remove machining from it. The right comparison is the cost of the finished component, not the price of the raw casting.

    Geometry that suits the process

    Some features are cheaper to cast than to cut, and some are the reverse. Reviewing the geometry before the tooling is made is where that gets decided.

    Its own building

    A dedicated investment castings foundry on the same site, so precision work is not competing with heavy sand production for the floor.

Chemistry is read before tap, heat treatment runs to a written recipe, and UT · RT · MT · PA testing is done here rather than sent out. Everything stays tied to the heat number for 20 years.
