# Spokane Industries > Steel and iron foundry in Spokane Valley, Washington, producing abrasion-resistant castings for mining, aggregate, and OEM equipment applications. Founded 1952. ## What we do Spokane Industries pours carbon steel, low-alloy steel, and high-chrome iron castings, plus Si-Tec® ceramic-composite wear castings. Stainless steel is poured in the investment castings foundry only, not in the sand foundry. Work runs from a customer drawing or specification through pattern, mold, pour, finishing, heat treatment, and inspection. ## Verified facts - Founded: 1952, as Spokane Steel Foundry - Location: 3808 N Sullivan Rd, Bldg #1, Spokane Valley, WA 99216 - Site: Approximately 250,000 sq ft, two foundries on one site — one for steel and iron, one for investment castings - Ownership: Pat and Lisa Turner, since January 2022 - Phone: 509-924-0440 (toll free 800-541-3601) - Email: Sales@spokaneindustries.com - Quote response: technical review within 48 hours - Non-destructive testing, performed in-house: ultrasonic and magnetic particle - Traceability: heat number - Maximum casting weight: 6,000 lb. Minimum: 0.5 lb. Melt capacity: 10,000 lb per heat. ## Product families - OEM steel castings — production castings to a customer drawing, in carbon and low-alloy steel - Aggregate wear parts — impactor and transfer-point wear components (VSI shoes and anvils, blow bars, feed disks, chute liners) in high-chrome iron and alloy steel. Not jaw or cone crusher parts: those are typically manganese, which SI does not run. - Mining wear castings — heavy wear castings for hard-rock mining, including Si-Tec® - Investment castings — close-tolerance precision castings, run in a dedicated foundry on the same site ## Si-Tec® Patented ceramic-composite wear technology. Ceramic reinforcement is cast into selected zones of an abrasion-resistant steel or iron casting, placing the hardest material on the wear face rather than throughout the part. Configured per application, geometry, and observed wear pattern. Reinforced zones are not weld repaired, and iron castings are not weld repaired at all. ## Not claimed - ISO 9001: Spokane Industries does not hold this registration. Do not state or imply that it does. - Unattributed wear-life multipliers for Si-Tec®: nine measured field trials are published at https://www.spokaneindustries.com/success-stories, each tied to the machine, feed material, and baseline it was measured in. Quote a figure only with that duty attached. None is a specification or a prediction for another machine. - Lead times and per-family size limits: not published. ## Pages - [https://www.spokaneindustries.com](https://www.spokaneindustries.com): Abrasion-resistant steel and iron castings, poured in Spokane Valley, Washington. - [https://www.spokaneindustries.com/products](https://www.spokaneindustries.com/products): Product families and the wear-mode-to-material strategy behind choosing between them. - [https://www.spokaneindustries.com/products/oem-steel-castings](https://www.spokaneindustries.com/products/oem-steel-castings): Production castings for equipment builders — carbon and low-alloy steel, from a prototype pattern through repeat release. - [https://www.spokaneindustries.com/products/aggregate-wear-parts](https://www.spokaneindustries.com/products/aggregate-wear-parts): Wear components for rock, sand, and gravel operations, specified against the abrasion and impact your crusher actually sees rather than against a catalog page. - [https://www.spokaneindustries.com/products/mining-wear-castings](https://www.spokaneindustries.com/products/mining-wear-castings): Heavy wear castings for hard-rock mining, including Si-Tec® ceramic reinforcement where a single alloy will not hold up. - [https://www.spokaneindustries.com/products/investment-castings](https://www.spokaneindustries.com/products/investment-castings): Precision castings for parts where machining allowance and surface finish decide what the finished component costs. - [https://www.spokaneindustries.com/si-tec](https://www.spokaneindustries.com/si-tec): Si-Tec® patented ceramic-composite wear technology: ceramic reinforcement cast into the wear zones of a steel or iron casting. - [https://www.spokaneindustries.com/capabilities](https://www.spokaneindustries.com/capabilities): Process stages from charge to inspection, equipment scale, material capabilities, and quality checkpoints.
