ABOUT US

Spokane Industries is a family owned business, begun in Spokane, Washington in 1952.   Since the beginning, the pursuit of top quality stainless steel products has been our goal.

Original Low Profile Fuel Bowser by Spokane Industries

When the United States Air Force needed a low-profile bowser to fit under the wing of a Boeing B52 bomber, they called us.  Spokane Industries collaborated with maintainers at Fairchild AFB in Spokane to engineer a bowser cart that met their requirements.  This ultimately resulted in a contract to supply fuel bowers to the DoD worldwide.
It is a very common sight to spot one of Spokane Industries fuel bowsers on military flightlines all over the world.  Over a fifteen-year period, we manufactured thousands of them; most are still in use.

An exciting product that evolved from the fuel bowser is the SealVac™ Vacuum Fuel Drain Bowser.  The SealVac takes the bowser to another level!  Utilizing compressed air, a vacuum is created in the collection tank to collect residual fuel from aircraft fuel tanks.  Even the tools that attach the hose to the aircraft are adhered with aid of vacuum.  The Sealvac™ is in use with all the branches of the US Military, as well as foreign militaries, and airlines worldwide.  Even major aircraft manufacturers use the SealVac™ to evacuate fuel for their aircraft fuel tanks.

Another addition to the SealVac family is the SealVac Plus+™.  The Plus model offers a fuel filtering option to aid in reusing the reclaimed fuel.

We also offer a UAV fuel service cart that is in use with the US Army’s Warrior UAV deployment.  This cart was developed in concert with General Atomics, the manufacturer of the Warrior UAV.
